Looking for things to do in Cork City this autumn? Four of Ireland’s funniest comedians are coming to CoCo Comedy Club at The Roundy for a run of headline shows from October to December 2026.
From Fair City and Bridget & Eamon to Hardy Bucks, our upcoming headliners include Eric Lalor, Breda Hegarty, Sharon Mannion and Owen Colgan, each joined by guest comedians from Cork and around Ireland.
If you’re looking for live comedy in Cork, a Saturday night out in the city centre, or simply something different to do in Cork this weekend, here’s what’s coming up at CoCo.
Eric Lalor Live in Cork – Saturday October 17th
Award-winning comedian. Fair City villain. Absolute force live.
Eric Lalor kicks off our run of 2026 headline shows on Saturday October 17th.
Known to television audiences as Cathal Spillane in RTÉ’s Fair City, Eric has been a fixture of Irish stand-up for years. He has performed at major comedy festivals around Ireland and shared stages with names including Tommy Tiernan, Des Bishop and Jason Byrne.
Away from television, Eric is a hugely experienced live comedian and co-host of the You Must Be Jokin’ podcast.
This is a chance to see him in the intimate surroundings of CoCo Comedy Club rather than a theatre or festival stage, with a lineup of guest comedians joining him on the night.

She has performed at Electric Picnic, Vicar Street and the Edinburgh Fringe, bringing her stand-up from West Cork to some of the biggest comedy stages in Ireland and beyond.
On Saturday November 7th, Breda takes over CoCo for a full headline set, joined by guest comedians.

Owen Colgan of Hardy Bucks Live in Cork – Saturday December 5th
Hardy Bucks star. Mayo native.
We finish the run on Saturday December 5th with Owen Colgan, better known to a generation of Irish comedy fans as Buzz McDonnell from Hardy Bucks.
Owen was part of Hardy Bucks from its original online beginnings through its run on RTÉ and The Hardy Bucks Movie, helping turn the show into one of Ireland’s biggest cult comedy hits.
Since then, he has taken his own live shows around Ireland and fronted the RTÉ Player series Owen Colgan Around the Fire.
His stand-up is exactly what fans of Owen would expect: stories, strange observations, tangents and the particular way of looking at the world that made Buzz such a memorable character.
Whether you’ve followed Hardy Bucks since the YouTube days or discovered Owen through his stand-up, this is a rare chance to see him in a small comedy club setting in Cork.
